I love The Cakery. They always have delicious yummy goodies and I've been happy with everything I've bought from The Cakery. Highly recommended!!!!

Been here with some Groupons and without! Been so pleased every time! Great selection, quality and prices! Owner is nice too! The bread pudding is the best I've EVER had!! I've had their cupcakes, cookies, flourless chocolate cake, mousse cup, lemon tart, fruit tart and German chocolate tart so far and all have been soooo delicious! I love having a local business so close to home I can be proud to support!!
When I came to pick it up, the frosting on the cake was not chocolate. It has very light brown almost milky color, balloons were not colored and my son’s name was misspelled. Later we discovered that the cake was not a yellow cake. And I paid 40 dollars for this problematic 8-inch cake.
I see that cakes are not this bakery’s specialty. Next time I will buy my cake at Giant, for half the price.

Cakes & Crepes! Bowie Cakery at the HillTop Plaza Shopping Center has got it going on. Coconut macaroons and double chocolate chip cookies are amazing. Just recently in November this year Chris and Freddy started serving crepes as well both real lunch crepes like turkey, eggs, spinach, tomatoes, pretty much everything you could ask for in a hearty lunch meal and then get your sweet cravings fix two steps away. Very fresh ingredients, all made from scratch, no doubt a great concept. If your looking for a sweet treat and full lunch for the whole office go see Chris and Freddy at the Cakery. They will take care of you.
