The service is lovely and the food is excellent. I have just eaten the best scallops of my life, and I've eaten a lot of scallops. The reason for 4 stars is because the two crab dishes we had, a crab bomb and the crab dip, were super heavy. My group all agreed that the crab bomb would have been better with just butter instead of a very heavy and creamy sauce on it.
This was my second time going to the Jerry's Seafood. I will like the owners to take a good look at the seating arrangement. Why are we paying such high prices for seafood and there is NO privacy? The chairs as set up like Golden Corral buffet style eating. Jason and Phillip, the money that I spend when I visit your establishment needs to go back into the restaurant in the form of ambience. You take your doggie back home and you are given a plastic bag, like you're leaving a carry-out. Do better please. I truly dislike that there are no booths for privacy, and I DO NOT want to look at other people eat while I am out spending that kind of money. It's ridiculous! Change the seating and have some class. You have upscale prices, but a buffet style seating.
The Crab Bomb was fantastic. Everything tastes homemade. Local business that easily wins over the big chains. A real treat.
We dined here for my birthday and the service was perfect and the staff couldn't have been more pleasant. The food was amazing and absolutely worth the price. The stewed tomatoes were like nothing I have ever tasted and the crab cakes were the best we have had in area....better than the famous place in Annapolis. Thank you all for a wonderful evening. This is our new special place.
First time here and everything was AMAZING,what out the icing on the cake is that the owner came out to greet each table individually, which doesn’t happen in majority of restaurants. It was a pleasure speaking with him about his restaurant. An added bonus was that he was dressed as a regular patron which made it more personal. It was a great environment, nice, clean, & friendly. The staff was also very friendly and attentive to everyone they encountered. I would definitely recommend to my family and friends.
The food was great on my first visit, but last night I had Alex and he was serving so many tables and ordering and delivery of food took forever. I came back for the fried shrimp and the string beans and they were nothing like I had two months. I had to send back my string beans to be warmed up. The last time I visited I ate 3 orders of string beans there, and ordered another 3 orders to go. That's how much I loved it.
The oysters were meaty and fresh (a tad over $2 each) and matched perfectly to a well-made Martini.
Had a late lunch/early dinner but there was still a wait. There is a bar and the drink prices are very reasonable.
