I have my little sister applying there. They send us an email saying that they've received all her documents and that in 2 weeks she'll get her admission decision and after 2 weeks they tell us that she's missing items.
I went on a tour of Bowie State University last Thursday and I loved it. Im currently going into my last year of high school and I really wanted to visit because I'm thinking about applying. I got to see fraternities and sororities, dining hall, criminal justice building because they have a great program. Overall experience I loved it!!!
The financial aid people will try to play stay on top of them don't call just go cause they don't answer their phones but overall bowie is lit and I love the culture
Since she started applying I called the Bowie State University department for International students (his name is Martin Dada) of the thousand times I called, he has picked only once never responded to emails or voicemails. I ask myself what they do in that office. Smh....
A bit scattered and disoriented the first go-around but fairly easy to adjust to with further exposure. The meals are quite excellent.
