My daughter goes here regularly to get her hair braided and twisted. Her stylists are normally Sydney or Asha. I show her stylist the style I want for my daughter and we don't have to wait. They are very prompt and her hair is finished in about an hour and half or two hours which is very reasonable. They also give snacks which is a plus. The staff are friendly and always make my daughter feel comfortable. Sugar Suite has good prices and they are a life saver. I am always satisfied when I pick her up as her hair looks beautiful! She receives many compliments from family and friends. Thanks Sugar Suite!
Upon booking, I thought this concept was great and that my girls were going to have an amazing experience. When I arrived, I noticed there were a lot of young women that were talking really loudly (which went on the entire time) and conducting inappropriate conversations in front of the kids. There was no where to sit and none of the staff members greeted me. I had to grab the attention of someone who I suspected worked there. I had a booking for five girls and they had two people to service five girls, which added an additional 1.5 on to our appt. I don't think either of those two technicians ever said one word to any of my girls. They weren't pleasant and they did not do or say anything to make them feel comfortable and pretty. One of the pedicure bowls was broken so some of the girls had to share - that happens, so I wasn't too worried about that. To top everything off though, was the fact that the place was DIRTY! The toilet had a huge black ring and the bathroom looked like it hadn't been cleaned since they opened. There was no toilet paper. The floors were gross, the sink was gross, and there was random room across from the bathroom that was filled with sawdust and junk. And, the spa area and tables were dirty. The place was just FILTHY! Additionally, they forgot to take my payment and had to call me after I had already left. To conclude, this place is unprofessional, poorly maintained, and not kid-friendly. I would strongly recommend looking elsewhere for children entertainment.
Horrible, I wouldn't even give 1 star if it were an option. I wish I saw my own post before going. I was looking to doing something different and inexpensive but worth the price for my daughter and 3 of her friends. I paid in total for them all $128, they were individually paided for because I figured paying two to three hundred dollars for s party package was pointless and besides it was my first time doing something like this so I wanted to see how it went. They seperated two girls at the mani section, two girls at the pedi section...why? The purpose of them coming was to not just get their nails done but to experience the whole spa thing as a little girl, I don't understand why they split them up and it was like they were just trying to hurry and be done. Over at the pedi section they offered snacks and like 4 tablespoons of juice *not exaggerated. My daughter who is five could not reach the sink for the pedi and at that the oldest child in our group who was 8 could not really comfortably get her feet down in the pedi sink. They soaked the girls hand and feet for approximately less than a minute to two minutes and they were bored out of their mind, this atmosphere is not at all kid friendly with this all being said. There was a little girl getting her hair done that was crying non stop, they need to separate the hair salon from the nail salon because there ae children and of course their going to cry. If I pay $400 for a package this could be very disturbing. One of the stylist was going off about not receiving pay talking to another stylist and how whoevers supposed to be paying her needs to transfer the money from her business account.
I came here for my daughter's birthday party. The staff was extremely friendly and did a great job with makeup and nails. My issue was that the robes that the girls put on were dingy and looked like it needed to be washed. The music for the party was extremely low and the "red carpet" was dirty and purple. The place could use a good cleaning. I don't think I would return because the prices are extremely high for the place to look the way it does. Again, I thought the ladies tending to my daughter's party were great... just expected more for those rates.
The experience I've witness was very unprofessional. The banter was more important than interacting with customers entering the building. I saw an angry mother drag her daughter out the salon with wet soaking hair which should of been a Warning sign for me. I paid for a package and didn't get the full Monty so when I mention it the stylish told me otherwise and didn't want to finish the job so the receptionist took over?.... Never again
