Never go here on Sunday afternoons. Although not crowded, it took 10 minutes to be acknowledged, another 15 minutes to be seated, and another 10 minutes to be acknowledged by the server whose attitude was not customer friendly. I could go on but generally the service has been better. Based on the rare appearance of the manager, the staff's behavior today mimicked his.
There was initially no hostess. Then they wouldn't substitute for the combo appetizers even though the substitute was cheaper than what I wanted. Drinks took forever eve though the restaurant was almost empty. And this was a manager who made that decision. Two out of three managers interacted with ay various times (there choice to come by) seemed inexperienced or clueless. I asked for loaded potato skins and they barely had any cheese. I won't even mention the music was off considering it's close to Christmas. Not the better experience...
Before I complete this review I have to warn you that I am not usually a frequent patron of franchise establishments. I love the home grown authentic places. So when I post a review of a franchise place, I went because of someone else.
So I was seated immediately and the place was very clean. Wait staff was friendly. So now let’s dig into the food.
This time as with most times it was my 11yr old son’s choice for his birthday. Can’t deny him his choice. So my expectations are low but how did I still get disappointed?
So the manager came by and asked how was everything and I said exactly what I said here. She offered to take 20% of the bill. I appreciate that. Which is why I gave an extra star because initially I was going to only give 2. If the food was hot it would have been a 4 clearly.
I went to this place to day for my wife’s sisters graduation lunch and we order our food and it take 45 minutes extra after everyone’s food is out and done for them to make my simple jack Daniels burger and they still cooked it wrong. Also the when the burger finally came out it soggy bread and you could not hold it in your hands. I will never ever recommend this place to any one I know....and will not come back here again and I used to love this place...
I ordered the Jack Daniels chicken with added shrimp. Presentation was great but here were the problemS! The broccoli was mushy like it had been sitting in water all day. Great flavor though, but I like mine crunchy. The chicken tasted awesome however it was like warm at best. The potato’s actually were the best! I tasted my sons French fries and they were cold but he didn’t complain.
Slow service. I waited 10 minutes for the waitress to take my drink order and she never checked to see if I needed a refill I had to ask for a refill. The food was good.
