Got there like 5 min late. They had me fill out paperwor, which is normal. I finish my paperwork. I watch different people come in for 30 min and they all got called back. I was so upset. I just got up and said i want to reschedule. This lady says " oh you cannot wait anymore" I wanted to squeeze her
They care, from the top doc right down to the great people working the front desk.
Common sense and manners will get you there every time.
Dr Closson and the Physician Assistants are marvelous. They all listen, are empathetic, and come up with excellent plans to ease a person's suffering because of pain.
My husband has been dealing with bulging and various disc problems for a few years now and went here as a second option for medical care after not receiving good treatment through his health care plan. He has severe pain in his back and legs and his legs give out randomly when walking. A doctor here initially prescribed better medication for nerve pain than he had been taking before, but wouldn't refill unless he had an MRI done here. After the MRI he had to wait a month for a follow up appointment to review his MRI, apparently by some random 'medical professional' who told him he probably has arthritis. There seems to doctors here who are knowledgeable, however their scheduling and assignment of medical professionals to appointments based on patient's medical condition is poor.
I absolutely love this place ! Let me say I am not the easiest patient in the world and I am sure there is more going on with me then just my neuropathy and busted discs and narrowing spine etc but Dr Closson makes me comfortable and the front desk makes feel like I belong there like I'm not a problem to them. I don't feel like they look at me like ",oh great here comes that lady again" it's nice to know that I'm welcome there and that I can be there without being judged or looked at like just another "chart" they know me. They want to help. Go there get to know them , let them get to know you above all be honest and they will help you.
With all I had going on, Dr Closson and his staff were able to help me in a significant way. They improved my quality of life tremendously.

I've since moved out of state but I'm still grateful for the excellent care I was provided by Everybody there.
They use a multi-faceted approach to treating pain. In my case it included medications that addressed my joints, neck, and muscle spasm problems. The also encouraged me to try acupuncture and when that didn't work Dr Closson advised Facet Joint injections, which were fabulously successful. That led to multiple Rhizotomies that provided long-term relief from the spine pain and the intense muscle spasms that I suffered.
Sometimes things are busy though I still received unhurried, quality care. That takes time. Once I saw people who had arrived after me being called in. I went to the front desk window and politely let them know that I thought I'd been forgotten or missed. Sure enough, that's what happened. They corrected that on the spot and I was the next person brought in.
