The Toyota of Bowie was the only one could squeeze me in to service when I had an "Emergency" situation. All the other Toyotas around me or corner garages were full for weeks and of course nobody cared. I'm truly grateful for Greg of the service department and the mechanic I was guided/introduced to, for the thorough education, careful discussion and reasonable pricing. The T of Bowie gave me this feeling that it's a happy place, everybody who works there are cheerful and happy, loved it!
As with any dealership, you must come in armed with information about the vehicle you are interested in purchasing. I had to work very hard to get a fair price. However, once I negotiated a satisfactory deal, the process went very smoothly. Although I didn't get everything I wanted in the deal, I appreciate that I was not pressured to purchase any after-market products and services. I was also very impressed with the professionalism, knowledge and courteous service provided by my salesperson, Ricardo Walters. He was very patient, kind and personable throughout the process. He even made sure my car was washed when it was delivered to me and he took the time to set my radio stations and go over several key features in my new car. He also called afterwards to make sure I didn't have any questions or concerns about my new car. Ricardo provided excellent customer service!
I went to Toyota of Bowie to look at a used vehicle I had found on their website. Upon pulling into the parking spaces in front of the building, one of the salesman came out and stood near our car waiting for us to get out. It would have been nice for us to be allowed to walk in without being immediately pounced on as soon as we opened our car door. The manager was a bit over-bearing and was over-the-top trying to be personable and sell us the car. But the salesman we worked with was nice. I was thinking about not coming back, but wanted to purchase the vehicle. It was very clean and in great condition, great detailers, but was a 2017 with 18,000 miles on it in 5 months, so that was a bit concerning. Ultimately, I decided to purchase another vehicle at another dealership because the car I was looking at Toyota of Bowie was ultimately not the one for me. Over all the experience was a little too much for a first time car buyer.
Not my intent to make this type of purchase this year but my 2004 Solara with 266,000 miles required too much work that I was unwilling to pay for. As I was contemplating my next move I happened upon Kevin Jones (salesman). Shared with him what I was in the market for and what my budget was. He assured me that we could work it out and make it happen. He was a man of his word! Thoroughly pleased with my car selection but was most pleased with the seamless transaction! I appreciate the professionalism, the straight forwardness, and the stellar customer service! I highly recommend seeing Mr. Jones and the team at Toyota of Bowie if you are looking for a car!!
I only have great things to say about this dealership. I first spoke with Will by phone who not only gave me a great quote but said they would give me an additional $200 off it I bought the vehicle within 48hours. I had another dealer offer me a better price and Will again got me a lower price. The deal was so good I did purchase my vehicle within 48 hours. My sales manager Jason Roberts was awesome!! He made sure that everything went smoothly and went above and beyond to provide great customer service. Even Elliott in finance was great, and that is something that does not always happen. I would recommend Toyota of Bowie to anyone shopping for a new vehicle. This is my third purchase from Toyota and in all three dealerships, Toyota of Bowie gets an A+. If you are thinking of buying a new car, call Toyota of Bowie and ask for Jason Roberts. Jason will not only get you a great deal but you will drive off in your new vehicle, knowing you did get the best deal out there.
